Commitments

I’ve always believed the message matters more than the messenger. But the things I stand behind — the work, the thinking, the politics — are part of the shape of me, so it’s only fair to point to them.

This isn’t a pitch. Just signposts.

Human Rights

I support Amnesty International. Quietly, consistently. They hold the line when it matters.

Housing & Social Justice

I also support Focus Ireland, both financially and in other ways. Their work on homelessness and housing insecurity matters — not in the abstract, but in the real, human sense of giving people stability, dignity, and a way back.

And I’m a member of Social Justice Ireland. Their research and advocacy on poverty, inequality, and social policy align with the kind of society I believe we should be building.

Radar Signals

This column’s focus is on emerging environmental, public health, social practice and policy risks that may deserve greater attention than they currently receive.

Public Policy

If you want the practical side — housing, systems, strategy, the work that tries to make things better in the real world — that’s at:

Marshall on Policy – https://go.dm.ie/marshall-on-policy

That’s where the actual work happens.

Thinking

If you’re curious about the framework behind my work — the ontology, the climate, the grammar I use to understand the world — that lives at:

Essays – https://go.dm.ie/essays

These aren’t political commentaries. They’re the foundations I think with.

Marshall Review

Reduced obfuscation, re-used punctuation, recycled commentary & sustainable argument. – the occasional fun stuff.

That’s enough

I don’t need to describe myself. If you follow the links, the message will tell you everything the messenger doesn’t need to say.
